Parametric meets AI — a teaching experiment at HCU Hamburg.
I have been teaching parametric design with Rhino 3D and Grasshopper at HCU Hamburg for several semesters. Since last semester I have consistently combined the course with AI workflows — LLM and Nano Banana Pro as iterative design tools that do not replace parametric logic but productively challenge it. From the coming semester, a shared website will be built alongside the students: portfolio, blog, documentation — at the domain nai.wtf. A teaching format that evolves as it runs.
