When image generators still dreamed — surreal characters from the early days of Midjourney.
At the beginning there was the image. Before AI workflows arrived in architecture and design, I was experimenting with Midjourney as a pure art tool — free, without brief, without function. The series is an archive of this early phase: surreal characters with TV heads, animals in human roles, apocalyptic landscapes and absurd news images. Thematically everything circles around media, perception and the state of the world — sometimes macabre, sometimes comic, rarely reassuring. A reminder of how good Midjourney already was at characters back then — and how much fun it was.
